Hi Donavon, I have a couple of clarifying questions: By "power cycle", which of the below are you referring to? See the TRM section here for descriptions of each. After the power cycle, how are you reconnecting to JTAG and each of the cores? How are you verifying the below? A __mdebugstop(); line in the task or a GPIO toggle? Donavon Facey said: despite the CLA definitely calling the function to overwrite it In the TRM note you have included, the debugger "accesses" here refer to if you were to modify protected memory from CCS in the memory browser or expression's view. If you are writing a register from CLA code, this wouldn't be considered a debugger access, so I don't believe the note should apply to this scenario. Best Regards, Delaney
