Forum Post: AM2434: pins esd protection and maximum allowed voltages.

Part Number: AM2434 Tool/software: I'm trying to find answers to the following questions about all signal ( digital and analog ) pins and could not find that specific information in the datasheet. Does every pin have a diode to it's respective power rail? Does every pin have a diode to GND? Is there any series resistance between the ball and the internal signals. Assuming that there are diodes to GND and the power rail, what is the safe current they can handle? Example: Imagine I feed an analog signal that can in extreme cases be 3V. How much do I need to limit the current in order to allow the built-in diodes to safely clamp that signal to the AVDD_1V8 level? Thanks
