In order to help you further with these issues, please address the following questions. Pay particular note to the bolded text of each question: None of the following MotorWare InstaSPIN labs labelled Lab 11 explicitly require SCI/UART implementation by the user. What do you mean by project 11? If you are referring to the MotorWare HAL tutorial which uses lab 11, please note that section 6.7. 'Adding SCI/UART functionality to a Motorware project' explicitly states that lab 11 is only used as an example, and these instructions are intended to work with any InstaSPIN MotorWare project. What is the specific issue you are facing? Which of the following is the problem: Is the system failing to respond to ANY UART commands? Are specific UART commands failing? If so, which ones? Is the system immediately going into a fault state, or remaining idle? Please respond to my questions from September 17th to allow me to assist you better ( direct link ).
