Forum Post: Clarification regarding the TI - 20 pin JTAG connections

We need some clarity on the TI 20-pin JTAG header. We wanted to use the TI standard 20-pin connector on our board to use the adapter cables supplied along with XDS-xx debuggers. We referred to the file: https://e2echina.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/telligent-evolution-components-attachments/00-96-00-00-00-11-70-81/Using-TM4C12x-Devices-Over-JTAG-Interface.pdf as well as http://dev.ti.com/tirex/#/?link=Development%20Tools%2FDebug%20Probes%2FXDS%2FDocuments%2FJTAG%20Connectors There is a contradiction in the JTAG signal mapping to the 20 pin connector. Could you clarify on this please? Pin Number JTAG Signal Section 3.1 TM4C-12X signal Section 4.2 1 TMS JTAG_TMS, 10k ohm pull up to VCC 2 nTRST nc 3 TDI JTAG_TDI 4 TDIS GND 5 VTRef VCC through 100 ohms 6 KEY nc 7 TDO JTAG_TDO, 100k ohm pull down to GND 8 GND GND 9 RTCK nc 10 GND GND 11 TCK JTAG_TCK, 10k ohm pull up to VCC 12 GND GND 13 EMU0 nc 14 EMU1 nc 15 nRESET RST_N 16 GND nc 17 EMU2 nc 18 EMU3 nc 19 EMU4 nc 20 GND GND We have followed section 4.2 for the schematics design. Below is the snapshot of the schematics. Can we plug the 20-pi cable that comes with the XDS-200 directly to a board with below connection? Please confirm.
