Hi Gary, 1. search for the post " MSP430FR5730 : How to reduce power consumption in LPM4". its says "turn off all unsued modules". If you look at chapter 1.5 in the MSP430FR5739 UserGuide it's saying "Peripherals should be switched on only when needed." 2. it make only a minor diffference. the current consumtion of one board with "=" is 50uA and with "|=" its 180 uA.
