The TI compilers installed by CCS contain a lib/rtssrc.zip which contains the source of the run time library, which allows the run time library to be single stepped in the debugger if necessary.
However looking at the gcc_msp430_4.8 compiler installed by ccs6 beta4 I can't seem to find the source for the run time library. Should the CCS installer for the gcc_msp430_4.8 compiler include the source code of the run time library?
If not, it not clear where to download the compatible run time library source code from.
[When looking at the debug server logging for a program compiled with the gcc_msp430_4.8 compiler, the run tine library was built from /opt/redhat/msp430-130423-317/sources/tools/libgloss/msp430 - but I can't find any reference to "msp430-130423-317" on the web]
