Forum Post: Chronos: Wireless development tool in a watch EZ430-CHRONOS

I am interested in purchasing the Chronus Ez430 development watch and want to learn more about it before I do so. I've done some research and found that the MetaWatch and Chronus Ez430 are both by TI. I am not sure which of the two I should purchase. I've been doing some research and found that the Chronus Ez430 has some interesting features. It can be used as a controller or remote. For example it can be programmed to turn on and off a light. Can the MetaWatch be programmed like the Chronus Ez430? Also can either of them receive information instead of being a controller? In other words, can either one sense that something is done or being done?  For example, if I wanted to print something, I want the watch to tell me that the task is in progress and inform me when the task is done. Is this possible for either the MetaWatch or Chronus Ez430? Please get back with me at your earliest convenience.
