Expecting a prompt reply on the same.[/quote]

And - such, "prompt reply expectations" are based upon what law w/in this universe?

We note what, "you want" - what, "you like to know" - yet little (i.e. nothing) is offered in exchange - to your commanded masses.

Keywords: "urgent, asap, prompt" usually telegraph unrealistic expectations and/or the "newness" of one here...

It often proves best to choose ports/pins which, "avoid the likelihood of unwanted linkages" and/or likely use restrictions."  You've chosen (likely inherited) a device which is far from its prime - deemed NRND - thus is unlikely to receive any such prompt reply.  Rather simple experimentation - on your part - may prove superior in meeting your expressed urgency.

Configuring a GPIO is fairly elementary (minus one, recurring "gotcha") - is explained in great detail via, "SW-DRL-UGxxxx" - and w/in most every single, "code example."  And again - experimentation unmasks MCU secrets quickly & memorably.

Perhaps your helpers' "expectation" - that requesters have demonstrated some focused effort - deserves an equally, "prompt reply."
