Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28P65X Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM2634 Tool/software: I am currently working on establishing CAN communication between two TI controllers: Controller A: LAUNCHXL-F28P65x Controller B: AM2634 The goal is to achieve stable and reliable communication at a bitrate of 500 kbps . I have referred to the respective TRMs and datasheets and am configuring the bit timing parameters accordingly. As per the standard formula: Bit Rate (bps) = CAN_CLK (Hz) / BRP / (1 + TSEG1 + TSEG2) I would like your assistance in confirming the correct bit timing register settings (Prescaler/BRP, Prop Seg, Phase Seg1, Phase Seg2, SJW, etc.) for both devices to ensure proper synchronization and compatibility. Additionally, I would appreciate your support in clarifying the following: What is the default or recommended CAN_CLK frequency for the F28P65x controller? What is the default or recommended CAN_CLK frequency for the AM2634 controller?
