Both of 18.1.4.LTS and 18.1.8.LTS are TI Arm compiler. These are not GCC compiler. Your are using CCS8.3.1. This is a rather very old CCS version. Is there a strong reason to use this version. For Eclipse-based CCS, I will suggest you migrate to the latest which is CCS12.8.1 and you can download from https://www.ti.com/tool/download/CCSTUDIO/12.8.1 . I understand some customers have requirements to stay with only certain versions of toolsets. In that case, you can continue to use CCS8. You can download TI Arm compiler 18.1.8.LTS from https://www.ti.com/tool/download/ARM-CGT manually. See below options.
