And that's where I think I found the problem.[/quote] This is certainly an issue, but an unprogrammed MCU will only use internal oscillator, so this would not cause your other issues. XRSn voltage should not settle at 0.9V. Can you check the value of your XRSn pullup resistor to make sure that it hasn't been populated incorrectly? Can you share the schematic of your XRSn circuit?
