Hi Marcio,
My question is related to sporadic errors in the application data portion of extended CAN frames exchanged between a TMS320x281x and an RM57Lx. The CAN bus analyser does not indicate frame errors, but I can see that the application data on the line is incorrect. Sometimes, the first or second bytes of the application data appear zeroed or have shifted bits. The TMS320x281x does not indicate CRC errors on the frames.
I think there won't be any separate bits to enable the CRC in the RM57x. The CAN instance should generate the CRC for data every time it transmits the data. May be the CRC errors not generating because the data exchange taking place at application code itself. I mean the CRC error will triggered only in the case of data corruption in the medium/bus, if data is modified at before giving to CAN instance, then there won't be any CRC errors. -- Thanks & regards, Jagadish.
