Might it be - rather than, "Can Bus Port doesn't Work" - it is your implementation of that port which fails? Too often the MCU is judged "guilty" - when the offender is the user. That's neither fair nor instructive. Such attention to detail IS required - especially when launching (successful) CAN communication. Many posts - this forum - detail the need for a, "CAN bus transceiver" and "terminating resistor" to properly enable CAN bus transactions. Your post does not reveal the presence of either - both are needed. CAN is among - if not atop - the list of, "hardest to master" serial buses. Thus unwise choice with which to start. (and requires the use of 2 such CAN xcvrs and a 2nd CAN device) Perhaps directing your communication desires to other (simpler) serial buses (UART, SPI, I2C) - while acquiring the necessary transceivers & CAN study - provides a better chance for you to report, "Bus Works!" "KISS" dictates the slow & methodical "build" of understanding & experience - which best leads to your success. Starting - by trying to climb the "highest" mountain - is rarely recommended...
