Hello Mason,
what is the difference between wireless MCU and wired MCU?
Wireless MCU is an MCU that has a wireless interface to communicate with the outside world - Example: CC1310, CC1352P etc. Wired MCI is an MCU that has wired interfaces only to communicate with the outside world - Example: MSP432E4 as it has Ethernet.
Furthermore, i also feel confused about some other device type, such as host MCU? and wireless network processor?
I will try to explain this with an example. If CC1310 is interfaced with MSP432E4 and MSP432E4 is the main MCU managing the communication then MSP432E4 is called "Host MCU" and CC1310 is called "wireless Network Processor". Hope this helps! Regards, Sai
